BONKR.

Grab it. Weld it. Bonkr it.

Slap, build and blow stuff up with your friends. Weld together rockets, cars and crazy contraptions, swing around with a grappling hook, and launch your friends into the sky.

How it works

Three steps. Infinite nonsense.

Everything in Bonkr is a real physics object, and your hands are too. That's the whole game.

Grab it

Pick up anything with grip. Heavy stuff feels heavy. Throw it, climb it, or pick up your friends and chuck them across the map.

Weld it

Hold the welder's tip on the seam between two things and squeeze the trigger. A few seconds of sparks and they're one thing now.

Bonkr it

Hit B or Y to fire it up. Thrusters roar, wheels spin, fuses fizz. Whatever you built is about to find out what it's made of.

The parts bin

Stuff to build with

Every part works with the welder. Mix them and see what happens.

Thruster

Pushes hard along its nose. Five of them will lift a person.

Ion Thruster

Five times the push, a blue glow and a whine to match.

Motor

Spins whatever you weld on next. Forward, backward, off.

Hinge

Weld it down, weld a plank on: you've got a door.

Spring

A bouncy link. Spring on the floor plus plank on top is a trampoline.

Rope

Two ends, 2.5 m of slack. Swings, tow ropes, hanging traps.

Button

Poke it and everything welded to it switches on. Or goes off.

Light

A caged work lamp that actually lights up the room.

Gadgets

Tools that should not be legal

The grappling hook

Grappling hook

Shoot the claw up to 35 metres. Catch a wall and hold the trigger to reel yourself in. Let go mid-swing and keep all that speed. Hook a loose prop and it comes flying at you instead.

  • Trigger shoot & reel
  • Release fling
The size ray

Size ray

Point, squeeze, watch it grow. Anything from a quarter of its size up to four times bigger, and heavier to match. A giant grenade makes a giant boom.

  • Trigger beam
  • B / Y grow ↔ shrink
  • 0.25× to 4×
The launch pad

Launch pad

Somebody stands on the pad. Somebody else hits the big orange button. About seven metres later, everyone learns something. Weld a Button to it to fire it from across the room.

  • 12 m/s straight up
  • +3 m/s where the arrows point

Explosives

Things that go boom

Get caught close and you're knocked out cold. Further away, you just go flying.

3 s fuse

Grenade

B or Y pulls the pin. The light blinks faster as time runs out.

2.5 s after it sticks

Sticky bomb

Arm it and throw. It sticks to walls, props and people.

4 s fuse

Dynamite

The biggest blast in the game. You'll hear the fuse fizzing.

Step on it

Land mine

Arms itself two seconds after you let go. Throws people up.

Hit it hard

Explosive barrel

Slap it, throw something at it, or drop it from high up.

Chain reactions are on. Explosives go off when something blows up next to them, and a Button welded to a fuse lights it from anywhere.

Maps

Two places to wreck

Set the time to sunrise, midday, sunset or night, and turn on rain if you like. It only changes what you see.

A row of props on the playground

The Playground

A big open yard with a two-lane bowling alley, a spread of props to start with, explosive barrels, and plenty of room to build. Big reset buttons put everything back when it gets out of hand.

The water map: an island with trees, a long dock and a diving tower

The Water

An island, a dock and a diving tower in open water. Swim by pulling with your arms, float on barrels and build a boat that might not sink.

Play together

Bring friends. Or don't.

  • Public lobbies

Jump into a public room and meet whoever's there.

  • Private codes

Type a code to make a room for just your crew, and pick the map.

  • Offline

Build on your own any time. Every map works offline too.

  • Voice chat, mute and report

Talk to everyone in the room. Anyone ruining it gets muted or reported from the lobby list.
